An Indian Housein
Pune became a harmonised home with the right energy flow just by
rearranging some furniture and adding some Feng Shui remedies and enhancers.
Family
members and guest felt uncomfortable to sit on the sofa, because only one
seat had a back support (wall behind). The red cloth on the sidetable was a
contradictive colour for this area.
The small
table was moved to the other side of the sofa, the sofa
has been shifted towards the window side and provides now back support for
nearly all persons sitting there.
The
“morning-tea” 1-seaters in front of the window for husband and wife stood in
an unfavourable direction for both.
Both
1-seaters were shifted in an angle, so the couple
can face one of their favourable directions and the communication is easier
as it represents now a U-shape arrangement, so people can face each other.
The
energy coming in through the maindoor directly shot towards the divan-bed and
out of the window at the opposite side. As it is frequently
used for night-sleep, no good rest was possible due to the energy
draft.
A
partition ( the only new furniture which was
recommended due to Feng Shui reasons) was build to stop the energy from
hitting the divan-bed and disappearing through the window, the flower-vase is
preventing the energy to stuck in the corner and is directing the energy flow
into the house.
As in
many Indian homes the maindoor is kept open most of
the times. Everybody coming up the stairs could have a look directly into the
privacy of the family.
The
partition protects the divan-bed now and also created a kind of entrance space, before coming into the privacy of the home.
Additionally it provides space to place recommended Feng Shui remedies.
A
favourable seating plan creates a harmonious atmosphere at the dining table.
Each location is linked with a typical family
member, who represents the kind of chi energy located there. In the old table position no one face his/her supposed direction.
The new
position provides the best sitting position for each family member and even
space to the water feature in the right corner.
Before the
water feature in the West area of the house
exhausted the Metal element.
Now it
has its new place in the East corner. Here the Water nourishes the Wood
element in this area, which stands for Family, Health and Growth. And the
turtle in the terrarium feels also more happy (I ask
her, really!)
The son’s
room was cramped with a double bed, which gave less
space to move and fewer places for all his necessary possessions.
The
writing table was squeezed in between the bed and
the treadmill. To study facing this direction was not favourable for him and
the computer emanated a lot of electro-smog right beside the head of the son,
who slept on the right side of the double bed.
The
separated beds provide much more space and the son can sleep now with his
head pointing towards his Personal Development direction. Further on he has a solid wall as a back support behind his head now, which also
encourages a protected and sound sleep.
A good
space was wasted with a table, which was actually planed for decoration but
mostly used as a dumping place
The new
position of the writing table suits the son the most, as he faces his
personal development direction, which will support him in his studies.
Additionally the desk is now located in the North East corner, which is
related to knowledge and wisdom – good for students!
The
double bed standing under a window doesn’t give a
good support for sound sleep.
The beds
have been moved away from the window; the new positions gives now much more
backing and protection as the head points toward a solid wall and the son
sleeps now also in one of his supporting direction. Even the treadmill has an accessible place with still a lot of space around.
